We then headed to Cape Clear, a small island, for lunch. The island has a population of only 100 and is an Irish-speaking place.

The sail into the small harbour was made in glorious sunshine before a beautiful lunch of the freshest seafood served with some great Irish bread. We took the short tour around the island and saw many of the guillemots, cormorants and storm petrels that make the island a prime birdwatching destination for so many##
