The clarinet seems to be such as to inspire most players to focus on one or the other of these mannerisms. 2. I still use what you taught me at MMR in Walla-Walla. Note how the use of the “glissato” is definitely almost absent (compared to swing clarinettist of the past) and replaced, in some cases, by the chromatic scale.
